Xerox Phaser 3635/X Missing Feature
If you are looking at purchasing the Xerox Phaser 3635/X copier, there is one thing that we find kind of annoying. If you want to fax a document on your computer, you cannot use the printer driver to get this done. On other copiers you can do this. It seems that Xerox, being solid with laser printers and copiers would have that little feature worked into this product. Even cheap HP MFP’s like the Laserjet 3390 do this. Why would a copier that is close to $1,700 be missing it?
Maybe Xerox hopes that you will have to upgrade to the WorkCentre 4260 or some other copier that is more expensive. Maybe they assume that it is not important. Whatever their reason, it seems that Xerox missed the boat a bit on this one.
